Pat Quinn believes health care is a right and believes everyone should have access to quality, affordable health care.

As Attorney General, Quinn will use the powers of the office to protect the Affordable Care Act from encroachment by Donald Trump and Trump’s right-wing allies. Quinn will hold accountable pharmaceutical companies and others who are responsible for the opioid epidemic which is harming families across Illinois. And, as Attorney General, Pat Quinn will fight against unfair practices and over-billing from health care providers.

Pat Quinn has always been a fighter for quality, affordable health care. In his time as governor, Quinn signed legislation to bring the benefits of President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act to Illinois. The legislation dramatically expanded healthcare coverage to hundreds of thousands of Illinois residents and also brought $12 billion of federal funding to the state.
